What I struggled with during my read of “The Kind Diet” was not the validity behind the idea of abstinence from meat for better health. In fact, I agree this can most certainly be a healthy way to lose weight and burn fat. As suggested by the author, however, one of the several reasons we should not indulge in eating meat is for philosophical reasons. That’s were I differ in viewpoint.

As much as I agree with this author on many points, I have to say that I beg to differ on the moral issue of eating meat and have expressed my opinion in a blog article.
